First of all, I would like to thank my supervisors Zebo Peng and Krzysztof Kuchcinski. They have given me a lot of support and encouragement since I came to CADLAB. Also, a special thanks to my good friend Petru Eles who lights up CADLAB with all his knowledge and enthusiasm. Thanks to the other members of CADLAB, who have through the past few years, grown to be more than colleagues but good friends. I felt you all deserved a special mentioningso here you are! The enjoyable (and sometimes amusing) working atmosphere at CADLAB means a lot to me. I look forward to the coming years. My parents have always given me support and encouragement. They have made me feel that the things I do are important. In some way (I don’t know how), they have succeeded in doing this without ever making me feel any pressure or demands from their side. Tack så mycket Mamma och Pappa! If I should name one single person responsible for me being at this position today it would be my big brother and best friend Niklas. He is always there to give me advice or a push in the right direction when needed. Finally, I wish to thank my fiance Tina for her understanding and support while I worked on this thesis.
